Affiliate Disclosure
1. What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a tracked link. When you click one and then sign up, subscribe, deposit or trade, the company pays us a commission, a referral fee, or a share of the fees you generate. It does not cost you anything extra, and in most cases you get a discount you would not otherwise have.
The payment we receive is why these arrangements exist. We are telling you about it because the FTC requires a clear and conspicuous disclosure of any material connection between us and a company we recommend — and because you cannot judge a recommendation without knowing who is paying for it.
2. Where affiliate links appear
- thetradingcircle.org — the Affiliate page. Every partner link on that page is an affiliate link, and each is labelled.
- Our Discord server. Partner links shared there are affiliate links.
- tradingcircleeducation.com — none. Our education site contains no affiliate links whatsoever and we are not paid for anything recommended there. The tools, channels, data sources and regulators listed on its Resources page are linked with plain, unmonetised URLs. That is deliberate: education you are paying for with a click is not education.
3. Our current partners
| Partner | What they do | How we are paid |
|---|---|---|
| Strix Options Funding | Funded / evaluation accounts for options traders | Commission on sign-ups through our link and code |
| TradingView | Charting and technical analysis software | Referral fee on plan sign-ups |
| Bookmap | Order flow and market depth software | Commission on sign-ups through our link and code |
| Bitunix | Crypto exchange with spot and high-leverage futures | Share of trading fees generated by referred users |
The Bitunix arrangement is worth calling out specifically: because we receive a share of trading fees, we earn more the more you trade. That is a stronger incentive than a one-off sign-up commission, and you should weigh it accordingly.
4. What this disclosure does not mean
Disclosing a commission is not the same as vouching for a company. To be explicit:
- We are not responsible for the products, services, pricing, execution, availability, solvency, security or conduct of any partner.
- We do not guarantee any result, outcome, or experience from using them.
- A partner listing is not a recommendation to trade, and nothing on our affiliate page is financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
- We are not a party to any account you open or any transaction you enter with a partner. Your relationship is with them, governed by their terms.
- Terms, discounts and fee structures are set by the partner and can change without notice to us.
5. Do your own due diligence
Before you open an account with anyone — ours or otherwise:
- Check registration and disciplinary history at FINRA BrokerCheck and NFA BASIC. It takes under a minute.
- Confirm the firm is permitted to serve residents of your country and state for the product you want.
- Read their fee schedule, margin terms, and withdrawal conditions in full.
- With leveraged products, understand that losses can exceed your deposit.
- With funded-account / evaluation programmes, understand exactly what you are buying: the rules, the drawdown limits, whether the trading is simulated, and what happens to your fee if you fail.
6. How we choose partners
We only list tools and services we have used or believe are genuinely useful, and we negotiate for terms better than you would get on your own. But you should assume the commission is a factor in what appears here, because it is. Where we recommend something with no commission attached — as we do throughout our education site — we say so.
7. Honest limits on our opinion
We are not in a position to audit a partner’s finances, verify their execution quality, or guarantee they will still be solvent and well-run next year. Treat our listing as “we think this is worth a look and we get paid if you sign up” — not as a substitute for your own research.
8. Questions
If anything here is unclear, or you want to know whether a specific link is monetised, just ask — use our contact form and we will tell you straight.
